Preamble

We, the Catholic Bishops of the Lagos Ecclesiastical Province, comprising the Archdiocese of Lagos, the Diocese of Ijebu-Ode and the Diocese of Abeokuta, held our first meeting for the year 2021 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Maryland, Lagos on Thursday, 28th January 2021.

After taking reports from representatives of the Lay Faithful, Consecrated Men and Women, the Diocesan Clergy, and the Directorate of Social Communications in our Province, and after our own deliberation, hereby issue the following communiqué.
